Our Lady of Mercy Country Home is seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our Independent Living community. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members while helping support the daily operations of the community.
Schedule
- Sunday through Thursday
- 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Additional availability to assist with weekends, vacations, and occasional schedule coverage is preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Monitor resident emergency response systems and respond according to established procedures.
- Observe security camera systems and report concerns as appropriate.
- Enter and communicate maintenance work orders.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and delivered packages.
- Provide general information and assistance to residents, visitors, and staff.
- Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Customer service, receptionist, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor with sound judgment and discretion.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
