As a Lead Hostess at Harbour Club Miami, you will be the face of our luxury dining experience, setting the tone for each guest’s visit with warmth, grace, and professionalism. You will lead the front-of-house greeting team, ensuring seamless flow of service from the moment guests arrive until their departure. Your charisma, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate guest needs will help create a welcoming and memorable environment for both members and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome all guests and members, setting a gracious tone for their visit

• Reservation Management: Oversee and manage the reservation system, ensuring accurate and efficient booking and table assignments across multiple venues

• Lead by Example: Guide and support the hostess team in executing polished, personalized greetings and farewells

• Guest Experience: Recognize and remember returning guests and members, taking note of preferences and special occasions to personalize service

• Flow Coordination: Work closely with managers and captains to control pacing, table turns, and guest seating for optimal service flow

• Communication: Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and service teams to manage dining room capacity and special requests

• Venue Knowledge: Be well-versed in all Harbour Club offerings, including menus, events, membership details, and venue-specific protocols

• Problem Resolution: Proactively address guest concerns or issues with discretion, professionalism, and poise

• Training & Standards: Assist in training new host team members, upholding Harbour Club's standard of excellence in presentation and hospitality

• Presentation: Maintain an impeccable personal appearance in line with our luxury brand standards and ensure the host stand and entry area reflect the same level of elegance

Qualifications:

• Charismatic, polished, and confident with a genuine passion for hospitality

• Experience as a lead hostess or maître d’ in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure

• Knowledge of reservation platforms (such as SevenRooms, Resy, or OpenTable)

• Ability to manage a high volume of guests while maintaining warmth and poise

• Ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand for extended periods and move between floors if needed
