Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and accurately process cash transactions while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following food safety management practices, including proper food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving any concerns promptly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting food preparation tasks as needed to ensure quick service delivery.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to uphold quality standards.
- Uphold sanitation standards throughout the restaurant environment to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Prior retail sales or cashiering experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
