Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team in Monroe, GA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our medical facility and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain treatment procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
• Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatments and medications.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited organization.
• Proven experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical training preferred.
