Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for sustaining/value engineering projects and evaluating and improving electrical control system boards in collaboration with the product design team.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and improve spa, pool, and bath electrical control systems and control panel boards (PCBA).
• Investigate and utilize new technologies where appropriate.
• Investigate and resolve product problems on new and legacy products.
• Work with the electrical design team to improve the product manufacturability.
• Develop schematics, select components, and oversee PCB buildouts.
• Work with the Test Engineering team to develop customized PCBA for signal conditioning and testing.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.
• Provide support for sustaining and new product issues in Manufacturing and the field.
• Support continual cost reduction efforts and maintain company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor Of Science in Electrical Engineering

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in electronics systems design and development; 1 years experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment is desirable.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience should include microcontrollers, power supplies, and RF circuits.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic and PCB layout
• Experience with developing electronics products for wet environments a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
• Ability to multitask and prioritize a changing workload.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Possess problem-solving skills and decision-making and can drive solutions to completion.
• Ability to interact with coworkers, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to travel internationally and willing to attend global meetings in different time zones

Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
