What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sandwich Maker / Cashier Assistant position at Our Deli & Cafe?
- Prepare sandwiches, hoagies, wraps, salads, and other deli menu items according to restaurant standards.
- Slice deli meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food presentation standards.
- Complete customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sandwich station.
- Prepare ingredients and restock supplies throughout the shift.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Check food freshness, rotate inventory, and minimize waste.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and workstations.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
