Do you have a passion for organization, writing, and research that fuels meaningful ministry work? At Our Daily Bread Ministries, the Grants and Donor Relations Team plays a crucial role in securing funding that helps make God’s Word accessible around the world. As a Grants Development Assistant, you’ll support this mission by keeping the grant process running smoothly—from maintaining calendars and records to preparing proposals and conducting prospect research. Your attention to detail and administrative excellence will help strengthen relationships with foundations and donors and advance the ministry’s funding goals.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Process: Provide administrative support for all stages of the grant lifecycle, including scheduling, document management, and tracking deadlines.
- Keep Us Organized: Maintain and update the grants calendar, database, and digital filing systems to ensure accuracy and timely recordkeeping.
- Assist with Writing: Help prepare proposals, letters of inquiry, and grant reports for submission to foundations and other funders.
- Research Opportunities: Assist with foundation and prospect research to identify new funding sources aligned with ministry priorities.
- Gather What’s Needed: Compile data and supporting materials from internal teams for grant applications and reporting.
- Strengthen Stewardship: Help track donor communications, reporting deliverables, and follow-up actions to support positive donor relationships.
What You Bring
- Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in an office environment and at least 1 year in an administrative, research, or writing-focused role.
- Skills: Strong writing and communication abilities, excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems.
