Job Summary 
The Kitchen-Packaging Associate is assigned to the Cart Room and supports the production and packaging of vape and concentrate products. This role includes performing vape fill operations, packaging finished vape products, and assisting with concentrate preparation and packaging while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy. 

Associates are responsible for filling vape cartridges and disposable devices with precision and consistency, as well as completing packaging tasks such as bagging, sealing, labeling, and counting finished products for distribution. Additional responsibilities include concentrate packaging tasks such as weighing product, verifying quantities, boxing items, applying tamper seals, and accurately counting units to maintain inventory accuracy. 

Kitchen-Packaging Associates must maintain strong attention to detail while following established procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements. This position may also provide opportunities to operate specialized equipment, including vape filling and vape bagging machinery, to support efficient production and consistent product quality. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform vape fill operations for cartridges and disposable devices while maintaining accuracy and product consistency 
  • Package finished vape products through bagging, sealing, labeling, and counting units for distribution 
  • Assist with concentrate packaging by weighing product, verifying quantities, boxing items, applying tamper seals, and counting units 
  • Maintain product quality standards and ensure all products meet company and regulatory requirements 
  • Follow all safety procedures, compliance guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) 
  • Maintain accurate product counts and support inventory control and batch traceability 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace within the Cart Room 
  • Operate or assist with specialized equipment such as vape filling or vape bagging machinery when assigned 
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain efficient workflow 

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Sanitation - Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment in compliance with industry and/or company standards.
  • Inventory Accuracy - Verify inventory accuracy, promptly report any discrepancies to avoid production delays, and prepare materials for upcoming production runs.
  • Documentation - Complete accurate, detailed batch records and daily production tracking sheets in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Other Duties as Assigned - May be required to work in other areas of the department or other site departments as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card.
  • Comfortable working in environments with high humidity, strong plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures while standing for extended periods of time.
  • Willingness to wear and change personal protective equipment (PPE) multiple times per day in accordance with Company sanitation and safety standards.

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate successfully across departments and roles within both cultivation and operations to achieve goals.
