What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Foreman / Field Lead position at OUI Installation Group?
THE ROLE
The Site Foreman / Field Lead manages daily installation work on-site and directly supervises the installation crew — ensuring
tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to project requirements and scope of work. You'll submit daily logs, communicate
schedule risks, manage equipment and materials, and report field issues up the chain to the Travelling Superintendent.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
☐ Lead and supervise the crew — assign daily tasks and coordinate workflow
☐ Submit daily logs to Google Drive by 6:00 PM Eastern, no exceptions
☐ Monitor safety compliance, tool/equipment condition, and enforce company policy
☐ Flag schedule risks, delays, material needs, and crew issues to the Travelling Superintendent
☐ Upload field photos and videos for reporting and marketing use
☐ Coordinate crew travel, lodging, and equipment cost-effectively within project budget
☐ Hold the crew accountable for quality, productivity, and behavior
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- OSHA 30 / Construction Foreman Certification, or NCCER,
- Forklift, MEWP, or First Aid & CPR
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of installation plans/drawings, tools,processes, and safety requirements
•Ability to train crew and represent OUI professionally with
customers
•Physically capable of performing installation work; willing to travel
REPORTING & AUTHORITY
• Reports to: Travelling Superintendent
• Direct reports: Installation Technicians (assigned crew)
• Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Day-to-day control of assigned crew, tasks, and workflow
Complies immediately with QA Manager stop-work / rework
directives
Salary : $3,000 - $4,000
