Overview
The Transport Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from program related activities. This role ensures timely, reliable service while maintaining a supportive and professional environment for all clients.
Duties
- Safely transport clients to and from designated locations.
- Maintain a consistent schedule to ensure timely pick up and drop off.
- Ensure the safety and well being of clients during transport at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow scheduled routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisor regarding schedule changes, delays or concerns.
- Assist with client supervision during transport when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, or in a similar transportation role.
- Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Experience with different driving environments such as city streets and highways.
- Demonstrated reliability with punctuality and adherence to schedules.
- Ability to work with children, adolescents and other diverse populations.
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
