What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Ouachita County Medical Center?
Ouachita County Medical Center has immediate openings for a Full-Time/ Part-Time Accountants. We offer new competitive pay rates and great benefits.
Accountant duties are included but not limited to:
- Work with Hospital CEO, Senior Management, and department managers to be in compliance with requirements and to develop financial goals and objectives for the hospital.
- Maintain General Ledger, reconciliation of control accounts, post journal entries, Assemble invoices, and perform calculations and data entry required to complete annual depreciation schedule.
- Perform financial analysis for the organization and present reccomendations for improvement.
- Monitor capital asset expenditures and depreciation, prepare annual operating budgets with input and involvement at the departmental level, as well as capital budgets and cash flow projections.
- Act as liaison between the clinical,administrative, operational and fiscal department.
- Prepare and report data to State Of Arkansas for unclaimed property.
- Formulate and prepare management reports, charts and graphs for administrative review.
- Prepare various statistical reports and account analysis for requesting parties.
- Prepare financial statements and statistical reports for presentation to Board Of Directors.
- Prepare audit work papers at fiscal year-end.
Perferably experience in Hospital Accounting but not required.
The applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be able to perform well individually and within group settings, have the ability to handle situations professionally and accurately, and must be able to provide care with courtesy, friendliness and respect.
