Position Title: Shuttle Driver - CDL Department: Parking Job Description: General Description: The Shuttle Driver – CDL Bus transports guests by driving a vehicle holding over 15 passengers (or smaller vehicles as needed) within the assigned location, providing safe shuttling service, exceptional customer service, and a warm and friendly arrival and departure experience. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Greet customers in a courteous manner, provide customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, and willingness to help. Shuttle guests to and from their cars to various locations on the location campus. Communicate with customers and staff who have general inquiries about parking, parking locations, and guest services. Use and maintain equipment properly, including keeping equipment clean. Work independently and as part of the team. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: None Experience: None required but previous shuttle driving and/or customer service experience preferred. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Valid Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement and clean driving record. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Sit for up to six (6) consecutive hours Work outdoors in all weather conditions Communicate effectively in spoken English with team members and customers Must be at least 18 years of age Expected to constantly work in all outdoor weather conditions Must follow appropriate grooming standards; required to wear appropriate uniform Strong interpersonal skills; frequently communicate verbally in English with team members and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information Able to detect safety concerns and adjust accordingly Ability to work in a diverse environment and be sensitive to issues of diversity and inclusion Good work habits and reliability Current OU Health Employees - Please click HERE to login.
