Job Summary: Infant Room and Toddler Teachers
We are seeking a nurturing, attentive, and passionate individual to join our team as an Infant Room Caregiver. This role involves supporting the healthy development, safety, and emotional wellbeing of infants aged 6 weeks to 24 months in a licensed child care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a caring and responsive environment that meets the individual needs of each infant
- Diaper changing, bottle feeding, and maintaining nap schedules according to developmental stages and parental instructions
- Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory play, music, tummy time, and reading to promote growth and attachment
- Monitor and record daily care routines including meals, sleep, mood, and developmental milestones
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate regularly with families, providing updates and supporting positive relationships
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency and best practices in caregiving
- Participate in professional development and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education coursework preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Prior experience in infant care in a professional setting
- Warm, patient, and empathetic approach toward children
- Ability to lift infants and sit/kneel on the floor as needed
- Clear background check and ability to meet state licensing requirements
