Design Sales Consultant Jr.

Otto Glass is seeking a Bilingual Design Sales Consultant for our new Miami location. This person will serve as the main point of contact at the showroom and will represent the company in day-to-day client interaction, partner communication, and sales support activities.

Because this role will be based independently at the new location, we are looking for someone polished, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing both customer-facing and operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, experience preparing quotes based on project information, and the confidence to represent the brand in meetings, presentations, and relationship-building opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in clients, potential customers, and business partners at the Sarasota location
• Serve as the primary on-site representative of Otto Glass Design
• Reach out to potential customers and respond to incoming inquiries
• Prepare and send quotes based on measurements, plans, and project scope
• Follow up with leads and clients throughout the sales process
• Assist clients with product, design, and service-related questions
• Coordinate with the internal team regarding customer needs, project details, and updates
• Attend Zoom meetings and in-person meetings for client relations, partnerships and on-site projects visits. 
• Maintain a professional and welcoming showroom presence
• Support occasional social media posting and brand-related communication

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Design, Construction, Communications, or a related field is preferred. 
• Candidates with strong professional experience in design, interiors, client relations, sales, or business development are strongly encouraged to apply, even if they do not hold a formal degree 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience creating renderings and knowledge of rendering software is strongly preferred.
• Experience reading plans and understanding measurements
• Experience preparing quotes or estimates based on project specifications
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Professional presence and confidence in meetings and client interactions
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Comfortable managing a location with limited day-to-day supervision

Location: Miami / Hybrid until August then 5 days on site.

• Compensation: $18-23/hour (Commensurate with experience)
