Otterbein Early Education Center is a NAEYC accredited, Keystone 4 Star Early Education Center dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for children from birth through 3rd grade. Located in Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of every child.
We are looking for a qualified individual to work with our before & after-school children and help cover breaks in our younger classrooms.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma & 2500 documented hours working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelors or associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Ed, Special Education or Human Services.
Responsibilities include supervising and preparing activities for children Kindergarten through Third Grade, before and after school. You will walk the children to school and pick them up and walk them back to the center. From 11-3, you will cover breaks for our younger classrooms. You will also be responsible for ongoing professional development.
The individual filling this role needs to be able to work independently and be organized.
This is a full-time position beginning January 5. Earlier if the candidate is able. Work hours will be 7-8:30am and 11-5. Pay is based on education and experience starting at $14.50. There is a $0.40/hour pay differential added to the starting rate due to the split shift.
A $600 hiring bonus will be paid in two installments at 90 days and 6 months of employment.
