Maintenance Technician - Conveyor & Hydraulic Systems!

Job Summary:The client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facilities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a variety of production machineryPerform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment as scheduledRespond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize production delaysMaintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Install and commission new equipment or machinery modificationsWork closely with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiencyComply with all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirementsAssist with facility maintenance tasks such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and building repairs as neededParticipate in training and cross-functional team initiativesQualifications:Required:High school diploma or GED2 years of industrial maintenance experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and schematicsAbility to read blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manualsExperience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, and conveyorsAbility to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varying environmental conditionsWillingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as neededPreferred:Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related fieldExperience in plastic manufacturing or high-speed packaging environmentsKnowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and 5S principles
