Inventory Specialist
Ottawa County Road Commission has a position available for a full-time Inventory Specialist.
This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory for fleet related parts, tools, materials, and supplies to support the effective Road Commission operations. This includes organizing storage areas managing obsolete inventory, assisting with documentation of incoming goods and associated invoices.
High School diploma or equivalent is required with experience in data entry and inventory management. Must have knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet development and usage; ability to drive forklift; and have a valid Michigan driver's license.
This job requires ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs., be able to climb ladders, and able to reach, pull, and push in order to position stock items.
This position is hourly and will report to the Fleet Manager.
