The Ottauquechee School in Hartford, VT seeks a dynamic and dedicated long-term substitute teacher for an elementary classroom from August through December 2025. Applicants interested in a shorter duration (for example, August-October or November-December) are encouraged to inquire. [Note that this position may have the potential to be combined with a separately posted Pre-Kindergarten long-term sub position for the latter portion of the school year.]
We are a PreK-5 school with an enrollment of nearly 200 students and a highly collaborative culture. The ideal candidate will have student-centered classroom management skills, experience in implementing inclusive practices, knowledge of elementary research-based instructional and assessment practices, the ability to collaborate with colleagues, a willingness to learn, and an elementary teaching credential.
