JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a blend of public accounting and industry experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in GAAP, a proven track record of driving efficient month-end close cycles, and hands-on experience with treasury operations and cash management. This role is an opportunity to take ownership of core accounting processes while partnering closely with finance leadership.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis on time and with accuracy.
- Manage daily cash positioning and treasury operations, including bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and intercompany funding activity.
- Monitor and maintain cash management systems; coordinate with banking partners on transactions, reporting, and any escalated items.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP; support external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and audit support.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in close cycles and treasury workflows.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and internal and external stakeholders to support reporting and strategic decisions
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience owning month-end close
- High proficiency in Excel
- CPA preferred
- 2 years in public accounting
- 2 years in an industry accounting role
- Direct experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate banking relationships
- Experience with cash flow forecasting models
- This is largely a sedentary role.
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
