The Role:
We’re looking for an entry-level Client Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll learn how to prospect for new business, build customer relationships, and support the management of a developing book of freight customers across the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll do:
- Build and develop customer relationships through outbound prospecting and daily client communication
- Support truckload freight sales with a focus on reliability and strong service
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and positive customer experiences
- Work toward and exceed activity and performance KPIs (calls, shipments, tracking, etc.)
- Learn and use OTR’s technology and tools to make informed decisions
- Grow your pipeline using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods
- Follow our structured sales training program while developing your own sales style
Experience/Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience (logistics experience is a plus but not required)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Coachable with a strong desire to build a career in sales and logistics
