Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on semi trucks and trailers, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air systems and electrical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify potential problems early and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Document all repairs accurately in maintenance logs and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers when necessary.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, suspension systems, HVAC units, and tire service.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and electronic troubleshooting methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients or team members.
