Job Overview
We are seeking experienced, high-energy bartenders to join our team for the 2026 season. This is a seasonal role running from early April through late October, weather permitting. Our bartenders operate in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor environment featuring live music, DJ nights, salsa nights, and special events.
The ideal candidate is confident under pressure, precise with recipes, strong with guests, and committed to responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
Prepare and Serve Drinks
- Execute cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Follow standard recipes and maintain consistent pours
- Build drinks exactly as rung in by the kiosk
Maintain Bar Cleanliness and Organization
- Keep your well clean, organized, and stocked throughout service
- Wash and polish glassware as needed
- Maintain a professional and sanitary workspace at all times
Guest Engagement
- Provide confident, welcoming service
- Answer questions and provide recommendations
- Maintain composure and positive energy during high-volume shifts
Responsible Alcohol Service
- Verify IDs when necessary
- Monitor guest behavior and signs of overconsumption
- Follow all TIPS guidelines and company alcohol policies
- Enforce safe service standards without hesitation
POS and Accuracy
- Communicate clearly with kiosk attendants regarding orders
- Ensure all drinks prepared match tickets
- Maintain accountability and protect inventory
Team Collaboration
- Lead and communicate effectively with barbacks
- Work closely with kiosk attendants and management
- Support smooth service during peak music sets and events
Inventory Awareness
- Monitor product levels in your well
- Communicate low inventory to barbacks and management
- Minimize waste and protect margins
Adaptability
- Remain organized and efficient during high-volume live events
- Stay aware of outdoor conditions, turf safety, and crowd flow
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Confidence in high-volume bar service
- Knowledge of standard cocktail recipes and pouring techniques
- Strong time management and multitasking ability
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service standards
- Team-oriented and accountable
- Must be 19 years or older
Certifications Required
- TIPS Certification required prior to or upon hire. Cost is the responsibility of the employee.
- Douglas County Food Safety Certification required. The company will reimburse the cost upon successful completion.
