Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for their stay
- Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with efficiency and accuracy
- Respond to guest needs, requests, and feedback with care and urgency
- Provide personalized recommendations for local attractions and outdoor experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically aligned front desk and lobby area
- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous, informed manner
- Support night audit duties as needed
Qualifications
- Prior hospitality or guest service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, calm demeanor
- Comfort with technology and hotel reservation systems (training provided)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- An eye for detail and appreciation for aesthetics and guest experience
- A love for the outdoors and local knowledge of Northern Michigan is a bonus
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
