Othello Community Hospital is a full-service, critical access hospital located in Othello, Washington. Open 24/7, it provides both inpatient and outpatient care to the surrounding Adams County community with a strong commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare.

• 24-hour Emergency Department and Ambulance Services

OPEN POSITION: Emergency Room CNA – Part-Time

Othello Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our fast-paced Emergency Room (ER) team. As a vital member of our frontline care staff, you will support nurses and physicians in delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care. This is an excellent opportunity for CNAs who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about making a difference in critical care settings.

• Location: Othello Community Hospital, Othello, WA
• Schedule: 60 hours/Pay Period, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays; Set Schedule: 18:00-06:00 , 2 days (Wed & Sun), 3 days (Tues, Wed, Fri).
• Status: Part-Time (benefit eligible)
• Wage Range: $19.19 – $34.77/hour (plus applicable shift premiums)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes

· Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output

· Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures

· Support ER staff with procedures and emergency interventions

· Maintain clean and stocked patient care areas

· Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

· Document care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and timely

· Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current Washington State CNA certification required

· BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or equivalent)

· Minimum 6 months of CNA experience , preferably in acute care or ER setting

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

· Familiarity with medical terminology and infection control practices
