VACANCY NOTICE
OTERO COUNTY CONVENIENCE CENTER is recruiting a Full-time Transfer Station
Attendant/Laborer.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must have a valid NM driver’s license. Duties include, but not limited to, maintaining records, certifying disposable waste materials, maintaining EPA regulations, identifying hazardous waste materials, and appropriate safety precautions. Six months experience as a landfill guard or attendant preferred. Exposure to intermittent noise and vibration factors, exhaust, oil paint, welding and cutting torch fumes, and dust. Employment contingent upon successful pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
Salary: $15.00 per hour plus benefit package.
