Job Description
Join an exciting opportunity to bring modern software to the Navy’s warfighters.
We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to stand up and maintain infrastructure and pipelines in both the cloud, and on-premise air-gapped environments. They should also have hands-on experience with at least one production distribution of Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines (above and beyond build pipelines), and with at least one cloud provider. Experience maintaining and upgrading infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters is desired. They should also be familiar with at least one pipeline orchestrator (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github). Experience with Python or another scripting language is also desirable. Must have some experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience doing infrastructure deployments with a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google) (IAM Policy, Security Groups, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.). Some experience with Azure preferred.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Terraform preferred).
Experience with BASH scripting for automation or similar.
Experience with Python scripting for automation or similar.
Experience with Kubernetes preferred (GKE, EKS, RKE2, K3D, OpenShift, etc.).
Experience with containerized infrastructure deployments preferred (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve DevOps Pipelines.
Automate Development and Infrastructure activities.
Experience templatizing with tools similar or not limited to kustomize, jinja templates, go templates etc.
Secure infrastructure and automate security controls.
Conduct design, process, and infrastructure/security reviews.
Assist with application team onboarding efforts.
Work with clients and vendors to develop a best-in-class DevOps solution.
Identify client MVPs.
Qualifications
- Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- At least 3 years of hands-on combined experience designing, developing, and implementing DevOps processes, CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure Deployments, Infrastructure as Code, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, production operations management and support, automated infrastructure, and automated testing.
- Experience doing infrastructure deployments with a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google) (IAM Policy, Security Groups, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.). Some experience with Azure preferred.
