What You'll Do:
- Process and manage purchase orders for materials, goods, and services to support sales, repair, and fabrication teams.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and components and assist with stock replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Help maintain strong, day-to-day relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery and quality.
- Track and coordinate inbound freight and shipments with logistics partners.
- Assist in compiling and reviewing purchase requisitions and supplier quotes.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and other departments to ensure purchasing activities align with operational needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with demand planning, inventory turnover optimization, purchasing/procurement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Proficient in Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and perform XLOOKUPs.
- Familiarity with various shipping Incoterms and international trade logistics.
- Experience with logistics software or freight management platforms.
- APICS, CPM, or CPSM certification is a plus.
