What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As an Industrial Sales Professional, you will drive new business, expand key accounts, and position OTC Industrial as a partner of choice.

Territory Growth & Management

  • Perform sales calls within your territory and develop a strategic plan to exceed annual goals.
  • Proactively target both existing customers and high-potential new accounts.

Customer Relationship Building

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver consultative, value-driven solutions.

Pipeline Development

  • Identify new opportunities and maintain a predictable, high-quality pipeline.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and customized solutions that deliver measurable customer impact.

Collaborative Selling

  • Partner with in-house engineers, product specialists, and factory reps to co-sell complex solutions.
  • Lead product demonstrations and help customers evaluate technical options.

Market Expertise

  • Stay ahead of trends in automation, robotics, IIoT, and advanced controls.
  • Position OTC Industrial as a knowledgeable, forward-thinking solutions provider.

Reporting & Accountability

  • Accurately update all activity, interactions, and pipeline details in our CRM system.

What You Bring: The Ideal Candidate

Experience & Technical Aptitude

  • Technical degree or3 years of successful industrial distribution/technical sales experience.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following:
    • Machine Control
    • Motion Control
    • Safety Systems
    • Robotics / Automation
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and vendor catalogs.
