What You'll Do
- Assist the engineering team with drawings, documentation, and project support
- Help create and update CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for engineering projects
- Collaborate with shop personnel to understand fabrication, machining, and repair processes
- Assist with inspections, measurements, and quality checks of components and assemblies
- Help track project progress, materials, and job documentation
- Maintain organized records, files, and engineering documentation
- Follow all safety procedures in both office and shop environments
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree or certification in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Interest in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or mechanical systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively with both office and shop teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on mechanical/shop experience
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, or rotating equipment
- Exposure to manufacturing or repair environments
