What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Property Officer position at OT Training Solutions?
SUMMARY/SCOPE
OTTS is seeking a Local Property Officer (LPO). The LPO shall be responsible for accountability of all Government property in the Contractor's possession. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Represent the Contractor in all property related services under the contract.
· Attend Government provided training annually.
· Account for Government property in accordance with FAR Part 45.
· Perform inventory counts and record all receipts and/or transfer of Government Furnished Properties (GFP); list shall include (property number, serial number, monetary value, purchase date, property accounting change report)
· Execute Contractor Property Control Plan; maintain control of quantities/locations of all GFP at all times.
· Maintain, issue, receive props listed on inventory list to include non-lethal training ammunition (NLTA) protective gear as required for performance of services.
· Ensure all protective gear and props are marked accordingly, maintain up to date prop inventory spreadsheet on Government provided drive.
· Adhere to company policies and guidelines; comply with all governmental security policies and procedures on training site.
Qualifications:
· Minimum two (2) years inventory control, database management, and quality purchasing experience with role player services or services of comparable magnitude (management, administrative staff and 100 part time employees); law enforcement experience is highly desired.
· Ability to pass a background check and preemployment drug screen, DOD Security clearance preferred.
· Ability to work with limited supervision
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Familiar with MS Office, possess computer and typing skills
· Ability to work normal duty hours (6:30 am to 6:00 pm).
· High School diploma or GED
· US Citizen or ability to work in United States
