Role Description
We are looking for OTs who would like to pick up a few cases in the West LA area especially for our school-aged clients who need morning, afternoon, or weekend slots. The primary responsibilities include assessing clients’ therapy needs, creating individualized treatment plans, working with family members on education and carry over of care, and delivering occupational therapy services to clients of all ages. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with clients in home and outdoor settings to promote development, motor skills, physical and cognitive abilities, and overall well-being. Collaboration with families and caregivers to support therapeutic goals and adapt treatment plans is also an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices and a solid foundation in rehabilitation techniques
- Knowledge of medical principles and their application to occupational therapy
- Experience or specialization in working with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and caregivers
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Ability to work in diverse, natural therapy environments
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
