Job Title: Community Engagement Senior Coordinator Department: Arts and Sciences | Community Engagement Under the direction of the Community Engagement Liaison, the Community Engagement Senior Coordinator develops the planning, implementation, coordination, and assessment of college-wide engagement, partnerships, and pathways initiatives. This position independently focuses on the day-to-day management of partnership activities, program operations, and cross-unit coordination to ensure effective execution of engagement strategies aligned with the College of Arts and Sciences’ mission and strategic priorities. The Community Engagement Senior Coordinator serves as a key operational partner, working closely with faculty, staff, students, community organizations, and internal university offices to advance mutually beneficial partnerships and engagement opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Independently coordinates and manages operational components of partnership activities, including timelines, deliverables, communications, and reporting workflows. • Supports the implementation and monitoring of engagement programs, initiatives, and cross-unit collaborations to ensure alignment with strategic goals. • Collaborates with campus and community partners to gather information, document progress, and identify opportunities for improved engagement. • Develops reports, summaries, presentations, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders. • Analyzes outreach and partnership data to support strategic planning, program development, and performance measurement. • Supports compliance with university, state, and federal requirements related to outreach and engagement initiatives. • Maintains accurate records, databases, and documentation for engagement partnership projects. • Assists in forming and coordinating interdisciplinary teams of faculty, staff, students, and community partners to implement outreach and engagement initiatives and ASC Signature Projects. Required: Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in community outreach and engagement, program coordination, partnership development, or related analytical work. Demonstrated ability to independently manage and support complex, multi‑stakeholder projects requiring coordination across units or organizations. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to evaluate processes, interpret data, and recommend improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, summaries, and stakeholder communications. Strong people skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with communities, professional staff, faculty, and external partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with datasets, tracking tools, or reporting systems. Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, operate with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Occasional travel required. Desired: Five (5) or more years of experience in higher education, community engagement, or partnership development. Familiarity with university administrative processes and cross-unit collaboration. Experience working in multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary environments. The pay range for this job profile is $58,700 - $77,200. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
