What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Supervisor position at OSU Medical Center?
Supervises activities of the Education Department, including employee education and training programs for clinical support, trauma care, resuscitation care, and cardiac and vascular programs, liaison activities related to community education and academic institutions, and administers the contractual obligations for the American Heart Association programs. Also, supervises staff and operations of the Education, Nurse Extern and Chaplains. The position is responsible for appropriate utilization of human and fiscal resources of the department. Works collaboratively with management employees, staff, physicians, and vendors. Other duties as assigned.
Education
- 4 year/Bachelors Degree required
- Masters in Adult Education preferred
License/Certification
- OK RN License
- BLS
Experience
- 3-5 years healthcare education experience
- Previous management Experience
