Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will interact with guests and staff throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed.
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems to manage reservations and guest flow efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in the host/host area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
• Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, providing solutions to enhance their experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling inquiries professionally.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
