Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
• Experience as an expeditor as the crucial link between the kitchen and the service staff stationed at "the pass"
• Experienced with quality control, ticket management garnishing
• Communication Hub experience and confidence
• Experience with leadership and direction (aka Logistics)
• Extensive food handling experience
• Understanding of fine dining techniques. OLB is not a traditional fine dining restaurant but we aim to serve at the highest level of professionalism in the hospitality field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in the food industry, catering, or restaurant setting is required
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Duties
• Assisting fellow hospitality members in any and all capacity (Osteria La Buca is a pooled house and in such every hospitality member works as a team unit.)
• Ensuring proper cleanliness at all times.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled sidework
• Opening and closing of dining room
• Bi-yearly employee evaluations
• Quarterly brush up testing

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
