Inventory Associate

Duties

• Process work orders by allocating stock and preparing them for project deployment.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to facilitate sourcing activities, negotiate supplier contracts, and optimize pricing strategies.
• Manage shipping & receiving operations, including materials handling and order fulfillment.
• Utilize analytics skills to improve inventory control processes, reduce excess stock, and enhance stocking strategies across categories.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Above average interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with various procurement as well as multiple service departments.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in demand planning and supply chain analytics.
