Join our team at Ossipee Garage Doors LLC. We are a small family owned company that specializes in installation, service and repair of commercial and residential garage doors. Our company prides itself on our customer service, clean installs and low callback ratio. Whether you have installed garage doors in the past or are brand new to this trade we will offer as much training as needed to help you excel in your role. You will get hands on experience by working directly with the owners until proficiency is demonstrated. Once you have gained enough skill in installation you will be responsible for installing doors from start to finish.
- Measure, assemble, and install garage doors, tracks, springs, cables, openers, and hardware using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting of garage doors, components, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Use welding techniques to repair or modify metal parts when necessary.
- Conduct door hanging, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry to ensure precise fitment.
- Read mechanical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams for troubleshooting and system setup.
- Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components to meet specific project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and saws with proficiency on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, safety standards, and schematics specifications.
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, remodeling, or handyman work is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with glass installation, fixture setup, or electrical work adds value to your application.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in metal fabrication environments will help you excel.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the installation process.
- Knowledge of locksmithing or lock installation enhances your versatility in garage door projects.
