What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Staff- Janitor position at OSSEO BP/ DAIRY QUEEN?
- Responsibilities:
- - Perform general janitorial and maintenance duties to ensure cleanliness and functionality of the facility- Clean and sanitize restrooms, storage areas, and other common areas- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners- Dust and wipe down surfaces- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Stocking of any area needing attention
- Monitor Propane Exchange station
- Mowing of grass in warm season, plowing and shoveling of snow in winter.
- Perform routine tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues, cleaning, stocking, organizing, painting, minor repairs, cleaning of filters and condensors.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary-Help maintain a safe environment for customers and staff by keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards
- - Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners, and pressure washers
- - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- - Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
- - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- - Good communication skills to interact with staff and customers alike and address any maintenance/cleaning concerns in a reasonable amount of time
- Ability to openly see issues and address issues with minimal supervision
- Ability to see areas of needed attention without being specifically directed to complete.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
