OSS Inc., an established contract security guard company with over 50 years experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working security officers in the Columbus, OH area.
OSS Inc. security guards are fully uniformed, unarmed and trained.
Security Supervisor experience required.
$16 per hour.
Requirements:
· Twenty-one years of age.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Ability to work additional shifts as deemed necessary
· Pass employee drug test
· Ability to speak and write English
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
· The ability to with stand hot and cold temperatures.
· Pass background check
· Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities include:
· Ensure the safety and security of the site and visitors through regular rounding of the premises and monitoring of cameras.
· Assist in making a weekly schedule for a staff of 10 guards.
· Assist in turning in an accurate weekly payroll schedule.
· Must be willing to assist in coaching and counseling officers when deemed necessary (verbal and written forms).
· Escorting employees and visitors to various sites on the premises when needed.
· Responding to and assisting in emergency situations.
· Completing incident reports when required.
· Completing tasks as required by the client.
· Signing visitors in and out of the facility.
· Thoroughly checking in employee bags.
· Use of a hand wand.
· Monitor employee check in.
· Recording of feeder gate logs.
· Sealing and/or cutting seals from trailers.
· Foot patrols.
