Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician I to support laboratory operations and product testing within a highly regulated FDA-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute routine quality control testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products according to SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Document, review, and enter laboratory results in accordance with current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP).
• Support method validations and verifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Identify, document, and escalate laboratory events, deviations, and nonconformances; support investigations and corrective actions as assigned.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols in a controlled laboratory environment.
• Work closely with laboratory personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily testing activities, communicate priorities and challenges, and ensure timely completion of quality control objectives.
• Prepare buffers, reagents and solutions required for testing activities.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, dispose of routine laboratory waste, organization, and readiness; perform environmental-monitoring activities in accordance with approved procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field.
• Laboratory experience through industry, internships, academic research, military service, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience following written procedures and documenting work accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Training will be provided for qualified candidates with strong laboratory fundamentals and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in GMP, FDA-regulated, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, environmental, or analytical laboratory environments.
• Experience performing wet chemistry techniques and sample preparation.
• Familiarity with HPLC, UV-Vis, or other laboratory instrumentation.
• Experience with laboratory investigations, deviations, or quality systems.

This is a fully onsite position in a controlled laboratory environment. The role requires routine use of PPE, extended periods of standing, and the ability to perform repetitive laboratory tasks. Occasional overtime or schedule flexibility may be required to support production and testing needs.

Hourly wage of $23 - $26.

Must pass a background check prior to hire.
