Overview
Osprey Life Sciences is seeking an experienced IT Business Partner to support General & Administrative (G&A) functions for one of our Life Sciences clients. Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, this individual will partner closely with Finance, Human Resources, and Legal teams to understand business priorities, recommend technology solutions, and coordinate the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives.
This role is focused on supporting U.S. operations while collaborating with global IT and business teams responsible for configuring and implementing enterprise systems. The ideal candidate combines strong business relationship management skills with experience supporting enterprise applications within a regulated Life Sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT Business Partner for Finance, Human Resources, and Legal business functions.
- Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and technology needs.
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions and partner with global IT teams responsible for system configuration and implementation.
- Lead and coordinate technology initiatives supporting G&A functions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and global organization to drive successful system enhancements and implementations.
- Support enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, user acceptance, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and implementation partners as needed.
- Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards, governance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and improve system capabilities.
Enterprise Systems Environment
Candidates should have experience supporting one or more enterprise business applications such as:
- SAP ERP
- SAP Concur
- Coupa
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Enterprise SaaS platforms supporting Finance, HR, and Legal functions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 7 years of experience serving as an IT Business Partner, Business Systems Analyst, Solution Lead, or similar role.
- Experience partnering directly with Finance, Human Resources, and/or Legal organizations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise business applications in a corporate environment.
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Experience working with global teams across multiple business functions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated Life Sciences organizations.
- Experience supporting SAP, Concur, Coupa, HRIS, or Learning Management platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise system implementations and business process transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with globally distributed IT organizations.
- Knowledge of GxP or other regulated environments is a plus.
