The Marketing Specialist reports to the Office Manager and works collaboratively with leadership and business/program managers to coordinate marketing priorities and activities.
Summary:The Marketing Specialist coordinates and executes marketing activities for Osni Ponca LLC, PEDCO, and their affiliated businesses, programs, and initiatives. This position manages marketing campaigns, social media, advertising, email communications, websites and eCommerce content, print materials, photography/video, and event promotion. The Marketing Specialist maintains the organization-wide marketing calendar, ensures consistent branding, tracks marketing performance, and reports results and recommendations to management.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Serve as the primary staff member responsible for coordinating, executing, monitoring, and reporting marketing activities for Osni Ponca LLC, PEDCO, and all affiliated businesses, programs, and initiatives. Develop and maintain an organization-wide marketing calendar for campaigns, promotions, events, content, and deadlines. Develop, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to increase awareness, customer engagement, traffic, participation, and revenue, including retail promotions, seasonal campaigns, new-product launches, customer retention, and eCommerce promotions. Establish marketing goals and key performance indicators (KPIs); track campaign performance, including reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, sales impact, expenditures, and return on investment when measurable; and report results and recommendations to management. Manage social media accounts and develop, schedule, and publish consistent content promoting products, services, events, programs, and organizational accomplishments. Develop and manage paid and organic advertising across digital, social media, print, direct mail, email, and other appropriate channels. Design and produce marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, advertisements, signage, digital graphics, promotional materials, and event collateral while maintaining consistent brand standards. Develop and distribute email campaigns, newsletters, customer communications, website content, blogs, press releases, and other written marketing content. Maintain website and eCommerce content, including promotional banners, featured products, inventory, events, programs, photographs, and other information necessary to keep sites current and engaging. Coordinate photography and video content, including product photography, events, short-form video, interviews, testimonials, workforce development resources, and other promotional content. Coordinate marketing needs with business and program managers; maintain an organized marketing request/project tracking process; and ensure assignments are prioritized and completed by established deadlines. Identify marketing opportunities, customer trends, competitor activity, and emerging strategies and make recommendations to management. Maintain customer/contact lists and approved brand assets while ensuring marketing activities respect the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, applicable cultural protocols, organizational values, and privacy requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one year of relevant experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, social media, advertising, or a related field. Demonstrated experience developing marketing content and managing social media or digital marketing for a business or organization. Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, deadlines, and priorities. Proficiency with common computer applications and familiarity with graphic design, photo/video editing, social media, email marketing, website/eCommerce, and related marketing tools. Ability to interpret basic marketing analytics and performance data and use results to improve marketing activities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership, business/program managers, vendors, and other stakeholders while maintaining consistent brand standards. Knowledge of or willingness to learn appropriate cultural protocols and respectfully represent the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska and communities served. Availability for occasional evening or weekend work; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
