Osmose is seeking a new Project Estimator who is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and analyzing costs associated with construction and development projects of varying sizes and complexities. This role plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering accurate and timely cost and margin estimates that align with organizational goals. Project Estimators work closely with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies that are both competitive and profitable, ensuring the success of project bids and proposals, as well as, the long-term success in the execution of projects through the transfer of accurate “As-Bid,” “As-Approved,” and “As-Sold” cost models to the PM and Operations organizations.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams (Contracts, BD, Operations, Project Management), clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative, data-driven pricing models that align with both customer expectations and company profitability goals.
- Apply consistent, scalable, and repeatable methodologies to assess competitive positioning, proposal requirements, and pricing strategies.
- Manage and ensure the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all project proposals throughout the entire proposal lifecycle.
- Analyze operational and financial data to forecast project costs, identify trends, and support executive decision-making.
- Participate in the review and refinement of estimating processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide analytical support during negotiations and assist in value engineering exercises to optimize project scope and cost.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in cost estimating, financial modeling, or data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and pivot tables).
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Qlik is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.

Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required to project sites, client meetings, or company events, typically within the Southeastern U.S. region.
- Travel will not exceed 10–15% annually unless project demands increase temporarily.
