OSMC is growing and adding to our physical therapy office and looking for you to grow with us.
Do you have previous insurance pre-authorization and verification experience?
Then OSMC is looking for you to help grow our department. Our Therapy Insurance Authorization Specialist will be working with programs like NextGen, Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams. The Specialist will handle executing proper insurance verification and authorization processes for both the physical and occupational therapy departments. You will be required to verify whether a therapy appointment can occur and obtain all necessary information to complete the proper coverage, care, and financial obligation for attending therapy once their physician has deemed it necessary. This job requires the ability to problem solve as you work alone to determine insurance eligibility, pre-certification and verification processes.
Our Specialist will need to communicate with and set up all processes and/or updates with all reps. You must have previous insurance verification and authorization experience to apply for this position as well as a GED/High school diploma to apply.
