OSM is a leading shipping consolidator specializing in small parcel shipping for the eCommerce world. We’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past few years and have ambitious plans for the future. Now, we’re looking for a General Manager to lead operations at our fully automated Sortation Center in Glendale Heights, IL. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape performance, culture, and efficiency in a cutting-edge facility.

What You’ll Do
As General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the sortation center’s operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective performance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead & Develop Teams: Manage and coach direct reports, provide training, and foster a culture of accountability and growth.
• Own the P&L: Monitor labor, material, and transportation costs to ensure profitability.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements, uphold quality standards, and optimize workflows.
• Ensure Workforce Readiness: Oversee training programs and scheduling to maintain full coverage and productivity.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Coordinate across shifts, adjust schedules for volume changes, and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Build a Positive Culture: Create an environment of innovation, engagement, and fun.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, or similar operations.
• Strong communication, supervisory, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive operational improvements.
