This role is critical to supporting our sales representatives and ensuring the accurate management, preparation, and movement of orthopedic medical device inventory and surgical instrumentation. As an Inventory Specialist, you'll work in a fast-paced medical device warehouse environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and accountability are essential. You'll play a key role in helping surgeons and healthcare providers receive the products and instruments they need to care for patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain orthopedic implant and instrumentation inventory
- Prepare surgical instrument sets and inventory for upcoming cases
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming shipments
- Track inventory levels and assist with replenishment requests
- Support sales representatives with case preparation and logistics
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Assist with instrument processing, packaging, and shipment coordination
- Follow company procedures and quality standards for inventory management
- Previous inventory, warehouse, logistics, or medical device experience preferred
- Experience with medical inventory and surgical instrumentation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable lifting and moving inventory as needed
- Proficient with computers and inventory management systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
