Role summary
Osiris Experience is building autonomous last-mile logistics to reach suburban and rural areas. We’re hiring a Certified Drone Operator (on-site, Atlanta, GA) to run safe, reliable flight operations, coordinate field deliveries, and uphold top standards in safety, maintenance, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute missions: pre/post-flight checklists, briefings, risk assessments, and mitigations.
- Operate heavy-lift multirotor platforms for tests, demos, and commercial flights under Part 107.
- Verify airspace (LAANC/NOTAM/TFR), weather, and local restrictions prior to each operation.
- Handle payload operations and delivery systems (e.g., winch), ensuring package and site safety.
- Keep logs: flight hours, maintenance, incident/SMS reports, and SOP compliance.
Requirements
- Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate.
- ≥ 1 year (or 100 flights) operating multirotor UAVs professionally or semi-professionally.
- Working knowledge of mission planning, checklists, LAANC, and operational risk management.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Atlanta operation sites.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lb and work outdoors across varying schedules.
- Clear communication skills; safety-first mindset, operational discipline, customer-oriented.
