Principal Duties & Responsibilities
The salary range for this role is $111,652–$167,478, with a midpoint of $139,565. Offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on skills, experience, and internal equity. In rare cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer above the midpoint; however, offers at the maximum of the range are not customary. The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match, and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

Position Summary

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Job manages a team, has authority to hire and performance-manage the team.
- Job leads/supervises/manages 1-5 employees.
- Interact directly with customers, with a focus on top customers.
- Ability to create specific customer reports as needed.
- Understand and manage production capacities.
- Support and provide direction to sales regarding capacity availability or limitations for existing or new business.
- Help procurement manage raw material and ingredient inventories for Chipotle.
- Plan and manage inventory levels for Chipotle and/or other customers to achieve 98.5% fill rate and Days of Hand targets.
- Provide resolution to key shortage issues.
- Help develop/implement alert and distress reporting process.
- Ability to develop short and long-term capacity plans.
- Interact with Customer Service, Sales, Procurement, Operations, and logistics to accomplish scheduling of production and inventories to support all Customers.
- Provide support and guidance to manufacturing facilities.
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
- Ability and skill in training existing or new employees.
- Work with Demand planning as needed to ensure production and demand are aligned.
- This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5-10 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Experience in planning and inventory control in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in other areas of supply chain such as purchasing, customer service, demand planning or logistics is preferred.
- ERP implementation is preferred.
- Ability to conduct meetings, and presentations.
- Ability to work with various levels of Management.
- Effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products and SAP.
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
- In Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited College or University.
