Principal Duties & Responsibilities

- Generate, analyze, and distribute reports using various software applications
- Perform business processes critical to ongoing operations using internal systems
- Assist with financial-related tasks, including placing credit card orders
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance team
- Order food and supplies for meetings, including handling urgent or large requests (may require off-site pickup)
- Assist with other Finance duties as assigned
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations through administrative support
- Monitor, order, and restock office supplies
- Maintain office organization, filing systems, and general administrative processes
- Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics as needed
- Maintain office floorplan, including name badges and nameplates
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to appropriate departments
- Assist callers and visitors with inquiries as needed
- Support front desk operations and visitor check-in processes
- Sort and distribute incoming mail within the Tipton office
- Coordinate delivery of mail to other Indiana locations via Shipping/Receiving
- Manage postage machine and assist with outgoing mail and shipments
- This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in reception/finance in a plant or distribution center environment, but not required.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Familiar with Excel and ERP systems
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communications skills.
- Good problem solving skills
- Associates degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
- This role does not require any domestic travel
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
