Field and Lab Test Engineer (NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi, BT, BLE)
As a Field and Lab Test Engineer for Wireless technologies, you’ll be troubleshooting and analyzing the performance of wireless connectivity (Wifi/BT/BLE,NFC/UWB) in both lab and field environments. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing results. You must have strong field testing experience and strong scripting experience with Python. You are expected to modify Python libraries as needed. During the week, you may spend up to 5 days in the field.
- Key Responsibilities:Conduct testing and analysis of NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth technologies in both lab and field environments.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive wireless technology testing with various products.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for resolving them.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing results.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments related to wireless technologies.
- Qualifications:2 years of experience in NFC, UWB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, BLE Technologies
- Must have strong scripting experience with Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to local field sites for testing and data collection.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with mac office tools
